Flow-UV
The Flow-UV is an affordable and compact solid state spectrophotometer designed for both flow chemistry and batch applications.
Utilising a Xe strobe lamp source with a lifetime of up to 10 years in normal use, coupled with a CCD array, the spectrometer requires no routine maintenance or calibration and can record full spectra in the range 200-900nm (an optional IR source is available).
Typically used to monitor steady state conditions and control product collection in flow-through applications, the high pressure flow cell, which uses PFA or FEP tubing and connects to the source and detector module using fibre optic waveguides, may be inserted virtually anywhere in the flow path.
A wide range of batch cuvettes are also available.
Flow-UV is an ideal upgrade for Asynt and Uniqsis flow chemistry systems.
- Long life-time pulsed Xenon source, 200-900 nm (near-IR option)
- UV-enhanced 3648 pixel CCD detector array-
- Flexible—high pressure inline flow cell with fibre optic waveguides may be positioned virtually anywhere within the flow path
- Chemically inert: flow cell has perfluoropolymer flow path
- Flow-UV software allows simultaneous monitoring at 5 wavelengths
- Compact, portable and easy to use
