We are thrilled to share news of our recent expansion and the official opening of Asynt’s new demo suite.
Increased facilities to enhance performance
Our previously cramped premises were hampering our growth as a company and our desire to provide more value to those we interact with. We have now doubled our warehousing capacity to enable greater control of stock, updated our IT infrastructure to improve global communications, built and kitted out a new photography/videography studio, and launched our new demo suite – all of which opens up a whole new world of possibilities!
The new facilities were officially opened by local MP for South East Cambridgeshire, Lucy Frazer, who has been a keen supporter of Asynt since her election in 2015.

The support network who helped make things happen
Supported by a useful grant through Growth Works (a transformational business growth programme for Cambridgeshire & Peterborough) we have implemented a fabulous environment in our new demo suite to enable our technical team to respond quickly to requests for demonstrations of laboratory apparatus, visually share how to install equipment, run through processes and ideas, produce informative webinars and training videos, and really communicate with scientists, distributors, and suppliers worldwide.
We were pleased to celebrate the opening of these new facilities with a special group of people who’ve been instrumental in this ongoing project, including adviser, Stephen Goddard (Growth Works), who Dr Kerry Elgie has been working closely with to access grant funds:
“Growth Works have been absolutely fantastic. I can’t praise our growth advisor, Stephen Goddard, enough. The team are always so helpful and so willing to point you in the right direction and give you guidance. You never feel alone. They hold your hand through every process, which is superb and really reassuring.”

We must also offer our sincere thanks to Mathilde Murphy at the Department for International Trade, Richard Carey-Evans at Innovate UK Edge, and Jacqueline Balian at GAMBICA, who attended as their support and advice has been, and continues to be, invaluable.

Additionally, through local government initiatives, we have been able to draw upon the guidance of David Harding (University of Bedford) in streamlining our practices for the benefit of both our team and for our customers.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support us on this special occasion and to everyone else who has helped bring this dream to life!

We’re already seeing the benefits of the new demo suite with training sessions and live digital demonstrations taking place. We have a range of useful and informative webinars planned, and are offering an expanded repertoire of training but in the meantime, if there’s something that you’d like a closer look at then please do contact us via [email protected] and we can arrange this for you right away.
We’ll leave you with a few informal snaps of the team and our guests, finishing with our security guard…!
