The Asynt team have been all over the world – virtually – via Teams and Zoom but what have they been up to when you weren’t looking?
Here’s a sneaky peek at just some of the team and their “lockdown hobbies”!

- Martyn’s been walking & messing around on a lot of motorbikes for his personal YouTube channel (Fen Tour!).

- Pearl has been cycling and open water swimming, but mixed in socially distanced coffee and croissants for good measure!

- Hannah’s been busy with this gorgeous little man! Ephraim has just had his first birthday and is definitely keeping his mum and dad occupied during lockdown!

- Arran has switched from chemistry to horticulture to tend to this fine chilli plant! We never knew he had green fingers!

- Ffion set to work with paint brush and roller – not just on the one room either! Exhausting!

- Mike and his lovely wife hiked up Bamford edge and Mam Tor in the Peak District – easy to social distance there!

- With other humans out of reach, Kirsty gave up and started creating a whole new species… with mixed results!

- Kerry has had to sort her own hair out which breaks the habits of her entire adult lifetime! You can see how thrilled she is about it!
With the changes in how we all function, whether for work, hobbies, or simply as people, in this rapidly changing environment it’s important to remember that we’re all in it together and communication can make all the difference.
The Asynt team aren’t going to all be in the same room together for quite some time yet but we all speak regularly, share the laughs that we would have done while making a cuppa, and catch up on the things that matter – because we’re a real team! It’s this close bond between us that is incredibly helpful when we’re working on solutions for our customers too, as between us we have so much more to offer!
