Dr Mark Ladlow
Dr Mark Ladlow is a synthetic organic chemist by training and had various roles within drug discovery at GSK over an 18 year period culminating in helping to establish and ultimately heading the GSK Cambridge Technology Centre within Cambridge University. There he collaborated closely with Professor Steven Ley in developing flow chemistry as an emerging new chemistry technology.
He was involved in the development of a number of now commercialised flow chemistry systems that were spun-out during this time. Mark was also a founding member of highly respected scientific apparatus company, Uniqsis (which has recently been acquired by Asynt), and continues his development and scientific support for innovative flow and photochemistry tools.
Mark is the Chief Scientific Officer at Asynt where he continues to develop ‘tools-for-synthesis’.
